Vision, Mission and Ethos
Our vision is inspired by the bible verses Matthew 22:39 and John 10:10. We have combined their meaning to state:
Love your neighbour as yourself so you may flourish and enjoy life in all its fullness.
Care for others and the world around you.
Aways be kind to yourself.
Our mission is to build towards our vision by:
-
Safeguarding the children; supporting good attendance and mental health
-
Delivering the “Church of England Vision for Education” and fundamental British Values
-
Improving our educational performance within a broad and balanced curriculum that promotes resilience, spirituality, physical activity and success in many forms
-
Increasing the involvement of all stakeholders (staff, children, parents and the wider community) to sustain, develop and broaden the experiences of the children at this school
Our ethos is to pursue our vision and mission by acting in line with these principles:
-
Justice and Inclusion
-
Forgiveness and Reconciliation
-
Democracy and the Acceptance of difference, change and loss
Our governors work in partnership with all stakeholders to deliver our vision, mission and ethos. Their work is directed by:
